Nizar bin Ma’ad نزار بن معد

Nizar was the only son of Ma’ad and was said to have been born in about 56 BC. He was nine-teenth grandfather in the series of Prophetic ancestry. He was also a patriarch  of the ‘Adnanians because he was the only son of Ma’ad. He had 4 sons called Eyad bin Nizar إياد بن نزار, Anmar bin Nizar أنمار بن نزار, Rabi’ah bin Nizar ربيعة بن نزار and Mudar bin Nizar مضر بن نزار. Rabi’ah fathered Asad, ‘Anazah, ‘Abdul-Qais, and Wa’il’s two sons (Bakr and Taghlib), Hanifa and many others.
