Mudrikah was the son of Elias and was said to have been born in 43 AD. He was also know as ‘Amir and was sixteenth grandfather in the series of Prophetic Ancestry. He had a son called Khuzaymah bin Mudrikah خزيمة بن مدركة and a son called Hudhail bin Mudrikah هذيل بن مدركة and was the father of the Hudhail tribe.
Elias bin Mudar الياس بن مضر
Elias was one of the two sons of Mudar and was said to have been born in about 10 AD.He was seventeenth in the series of Prophetic Ancestry. He had at least one son who was called Mudrikah bin Elias مدركة بن الياس.
Mudar bin Nizar مضر بن نزار
Mudar was one of the four sons of Nizar and was said to have been born about 23 BC. He was the eighteenth grandfather in the series of Prophetic ancestry. He had two sons called Qais ‘Ailan bin Muda قيس عيلان بن مضر who was the father of the tribe of Qais and Elias bin Mudar الياس بن مضر.
Nizar bin Ma’ad نزار بن معد
Nizar was the only son of Ma’ad and was said to have been born in about 56 BC. He was nine-teenth grandfather in the series of Prophetic ancestry. He was also a patriarch of the ‘Adnanians because he was the only son of Ma’ad. He had 4 sons called Eyad bin Nizar إياد بن نزار, Anmar bin Nizar أنمار بن نزار, Rabi’ah bin Nizar ربيعة بن نزار and Mudar bin Nizar مضر بن نزار. Rabi’ah fathered Asad, ‘Anazah, ‘Abdul-Qais, and Wa’il’s two sons (Bakr and Taghlib), Hanifa and many others.
Ma’ad bin ‘Adnan معد بن عدنان
Ma’ad was the only son of ‘Adnan and was said to have been born about 89 BC. He was also a patriarch of the ‘Adnanian Arabs because he was ‘Adnan’s only son. He was the twentieth grandfather in the Prophetic ancestry. He had only one son named Nizar bin Ma’ad نزار بن معد.
‘Adnan bin Add عدنان بن أد
‘Adnan was the son of Add and is said to have been born about 122 BC and is the person from whom the ‘Adnanian Arabs descend from and is also their patriarch. ‘Adnan was the twenty-first grandfather in the Prophetic ancestry. He only had one son named Ma’ad bin ‘Adnan معد بن عدنان.
From Adnan to Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him)
English: Muhammad bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdul-Muttalib (who was called Shaiba) bin Hashim, (named ‘Amr) bin ‘Abd Munaf (called Al-Mugheera) bin Qusai (also called Zaid) bin Kilab bin Murra bin Ka‘b bin Luay bin Ghalib bin Fahr (who was called Quraish and whose tribe was called after him) bin Malik bin An-Nadr (so called Qais) bin Kinanah bin Khuzaimah bin Mudrikah (who was called ‘Amir) bin Elias bin Mudar bin Nizar bin Ma‘ad bin ‘Adnan.[Ibn Hisham 1/1,2; Talqeeh Fuhoom Ahl Al-Athar, p. 5-6; Rahmat-ul-lil’alameen 2/11-14,52]. On his mother’s side it went like this Aminah bint Wahb bin ‘Abd Manaf bin Zuhrah bin Kilab, who is the same Kilab as above.

The above lineage is authentic and can be found in The Sealed Nectar by Safi-ur-Rahman Al-Mubarakpuri and the Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) himself said the above lineage is correct and never went beyond ‘Adnan. The above were the rulers of Hejaz and Inshallah I will try to write a biography for each one and then to the lineage from Ibrahim (Peace be Upon Him to ‘Adnan.
